Reverend Ann Leonard
I moved to Hayling Island in August 2003 to become Vicar of St Peters and St Andrews Church. My previous work with the church was in the Petersfield area and involved working with children and young people both in churches and in schools and so I am very pleased to be a governor at Mill Rythe Infants and support the life of the school. I love living on Hayling and one of the best bits is being greeted by the children when I am out and about. |

Mr Roger Croft
I have been a Bank Manager for the past 6 years working in the local area. I am married and have 2 sons. I have a passion for getting involved with local charity and volunteer events, which is what lead me to become a Governor at the school. |

Mr Paul Chapman
After studying in London and Manchester, I became an engineer and applied (some would say misapplied) my skills to the production of alcohol and money by working in the brewing and banking industries. In the later part of my career, I moved into management and gained financial and commercial experience that has been very useful as a governor. Throughout my career, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to travel extensively around the world.
I first became involved with Mill Rythe Infants when I moved onto the Island in 1977 and my son became a pupil. Upon my retirement 8 years ago, I became a governor and have since been privileged to work with a very professional team of staff that has made MRIS the success that it is today. |

Mrs Anna Dollery
Mother of five children, all of whom have attended Mill Rythe Infant School. The eldest started in 1991, the youngest is now at Mill Rythe Junior School. I work from home as administrative secretary for the International Windsurfing Association, a full time job but flexible working allows me to spend a lot of time in school. |

Mrs Helen Martin
I would like to introduce myself as the Non-Teaching Staff Governor at Mill Rythe Infant School. I am Helen Martin, the school's Administration/Finance Officer. Since joining the Governing Body, I am amazed at how hard Governors work towards supporting and improving the school for the children and parents here, and I am very glad to help with this process. |

I was appointed in January 2001, moving from Headship of a small village primary school in the Dartmoor National Park, Devon. My specialism is Early Years' Education and so I was keen to be responsible for leading an Infant School. I am married to Alan, a retired Headteacher, and we loved Hayling Island so much that we decided to buy a home on the island in 2002. We have recently moved again, but still on the island. We feel privileged to belong to this community - there is so much going on. Between us we have four grown up children and are lucky to have two grandchildren......so far. We understand how passionate parents can be about education. My vision for Mill Rythe Infant School is that it becomes a place where everyone who belongs can grow and develop. |
