I have been a Bank Manager for the past 6 years working in the local area. I am married and have 2 sons. I have a passion for getting involved with local charity and volunteer events, which is what lead me to become a Governor at the school.

Reverend Ann Leonard
I moved to Hayling Island in August 2003 to become Vicar of St Peters and St Andrews Church. My previous work with the church was in the Petersfield area and involved working with children and young people both in churches and in schools and so I am very pleased to be a governor at Mill Rythe Infants and support the life of the school. I love living on Hayling and one of the best bits is being greeted by the children when I am out and about.

Mrs Lucy Jameson
I am a full time wife and mother to 2 boys , my children both currently attend Mill Rythe Infant School, I am lucky enough to spend time in the school working with the children and am always struck by how enthusiastic, confident and happy the children are. I believe the role of school Governor is a rewarding, exciting and challenging and feel very lucky to be part of such a great team of staff and Governors.

Mrs Annabel Plater
As a former pupil I have a long standing affection for Mill Rythe Infant school. My daughter loved her time at the school and my son is due to start in 2010. Appointed as a parent governor in October 2008 and now the chair of the Curriculum Committee, I am enjoying working with the teachers, pupils and fellow governors in supporting the development of the school. |

Mrs Nicola Tyler
I've lived on Hayling Island for 13 years and my two children both attend Mill Rythe Infants School. After having my second child I left my job as Credit Operations Manager with Capital Radio Group PLC to spend as much time as possible with my young family.
Here at Mill Rythe I believe we have a dedicated and caring staff that support and motivate the children to both achieve and excel in reaching their potential.

Mr Grenville Williamson
As a parent of one child at Mill Rythe with another in nursery I have a genuine interest in helping the school in any way I can. I run my own company allowing me some flexibility to fulfil my responsibilities as a Governor and have previous experience of running training and development programmes, though for a slightly older age group. My passion is motor sport and hope at least one of my daughters will continue the success their mother and I have enjoyed. |

Mrs Helen Martin
I would like to introduce myself as the Non-Teaching Staff Governor at Mill Rythe Infant School. I am Helen Martin, the school's Administration/Finance Officer. Since joining the Governing Body, I am amazed at how hard Governors work towards supporting and improving the school for the children and parents here, and I am very glad to help with this process.

I was appointed in January 2001, moving from Headship of a small village primary school in the Dartmoor National Park, Devon. My specialism is Early Years' Education and so I was keen to be responsible for leading an Infant School. I am married to Alan, a retired Headteacher, and we loved Hayling Island so much that we decided to buy a home on the island in 2002. We have recently moved again, but still on the island. We feel privileged to belong to this community - there is so much going on and we have been made to feel very welcome. Between us we have four grown up children and are lucky to have three grandchildren......so far. We understand how passionate parents can be about education and want the best for their child. My vision for Mill Rythe Infant School is that it becomes a place where everyone who belongs grows and develops.
