We show Appreciation for the things that people do for us, the kindness they show us and the care they give us.  We try to value other people, showing empathy and sensitivity and consider their needs and feelings.  We are polite, respectful and thoughtful and try our best at all times. We Nurture each other by celebrating our achievements and talents.  We try to be kind and caring to everyone in school.  We are well supported and know that we will grow because Mill Rythe Infant School is a happy place to be. With Confidence we take on new things  knowing that we will be encouraged to have a go, and our efforts will be valued.  We try to get help when we need it and feel good about  ourselves when we have gained success.  We are individuals who have different hopes and dreams and believe that they will come true. We  strive for Honesty in our dealings with people, being open and respectful.  We try to trust each other and keep to the rules which help us stay safe and secure.  We are truthful, and work hard to keep our promises and not let people down. We take every Opportunity to learn and find out more about ourselves, recognising that to be fair we have to take our turn.  We try to work hard and keep going when things are not easy.  We are excited by new opportunities, enjoy being challenged and feel a real sense of pride in our achievements. We take Responsibility seriously and show that we can be relied on.  We try to look after our school and the grounds and our homes, showing respect for people and property.  We all belong to our community and work together as a team, each person playing their part.  We are committed to helping find answers to make the world a better place to live in.
